The amount of people asking why I broke up with Tyler
is kinda shocking to me. I mean I understand being curious but idk, its awkward
Long story short we just grew apart, and have very different goals in life. as my mom says, I “outgrew” him. People change, and it’s okay. Sometimes it can be easy to get stuck in a relationship that is basically a broken record but finding a way out of that can be the most refreshing thing you can do for yourself. I’ve been back home in AZ for almost two weeks now and have already seen more friends and been more busy and had more fun than I have in months in Austin. Really this was the best thing for both of us, all I can do now is hold my head up, think positive and work on bettering myself. :)
just read your recent blog post. i began watching your vids during a super stressful time, when i moved away from my fam/friends/boyfriend for grad school. your vids were fun, entertaining, and helped me feel like i was GOOD at something when i was lonely and my profs were doing nothing but ripping my work apart. whether you realize it or not, you bring happiness to SO MANY people. you deserve all that happiness too, so i hope you find it on your new path in life! thanks for being awesome :)
oh my gosh, this was such a sweet message <333 thank you so much!!
i used to use this finishing powder that had spf. and whenever there were pictures of me i look ghostly pale, im pale to begin with, but its scary pale. and tried putting on tons of bronzer but didnt help. will the tinted moisturizer you mention give me that same paleness from spf?
SPF can react weirdly with flash photography, especially at night or when you dont have a natural light source. if you know you are going to be photographed with flash, you can either choose to skip SPF or just blenddddd. this is nice because its not the overlaying powder, which would have a more obvious effect in photos!
What is the best type of brush to use for liquid foundation?
you can ask 10 different people that and get 10 different answers. a lot like synthetic brushes because they dont absorb the product, others like natural brushes because it gives a more finished look, some with like a combo of the two with a brush like a duo fibre/skunk brush because it will let you use less product for the same look.. so like i said, its all personal preference. I feel like I always change it up, right now im using a natural hair brush from sephora (this one) or I also like using a blending sponge (LOVE this one) but I also love brushes like Sigma’s Sigmax collection. All depends on the day/foundation/consistency i guess haha
Would you recommend the NARS Pure Radiant over something like Origins VitaZing?
I like Vitazing, especially if you are pale and want to give your skin an extra oomph of color. I haven’t used in in quite a long time though, now that you mention it! I like them both as they both have SPF, which is so so so important and something I ALWAYS forget so I especially love when a moisturizer has a decent amount in it. Overall they are both really great tinted moisturizers, pretty similar in price point and spf (nars has 5 SPF more and is $7 more expensive) but since I havent really tested them against eachother, or used VitaZing in like a year, I cant say one over the other!
I was wondering if you could recommend a good tinted moisturizer? :)
oh my gosh, yes!! the new NARS one..Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer SPF 30 / PA+++ (freaking mouthful of a name)
I am OBSESSED. I use it every day. It’s a bit pricey, but it’s just such a nice product. It gives nice coverage for a tinted moisturizer (I actually use it even when I use regular foundation, and my skin looks uhhmayzing) and helps to fade dark spots. I cant talk highly enough about this product!!
