are we talking abut foundation? for foundation I recommend going to a department store/makeup counter and getting someone to find your color. That way you can see where it is on their shade spectrum, what it looks like in the bottle, find out if your skintone is warm or cool, and you kinda get an idea of what it would be in other brands. I know that my skintone is generally the 1st or 2nd yellow-based foundation in a line, so I usually (RE: USUALLY. I do have problems sometimes with drugstore when you cant test product) get it right!
